Kubo Tite’s popular manga BLEACH is about to get a rock musical remake. The event, dubbed as the Bleach Rock Musical (Revival), will be happening in Tokyo this summer. The Shinsei Rock Musical Reprise is the second season of this performance, with Tsuyoshi Kida heading the musical with his writing and directing skills. The show will run for thirteen performances and will be held at the Shinagawa Stella Ball, starting this August 30 up to September 9. Keep Reading

Magi, Ohtaka Shinobu’s currently ongoing manga, has been green lit to have an anime adaptation. This project will be produced by A-1 Pictures, known to have created known titles such as Ao no Exorcist, Tsuritama, Ano Hi Mita no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai, and Uchuu Kyoudai. Magi, also known for its subtitle, the Labyrinth of Magic, centers on an Arabian Nights theme which features events and occasions situated on the mysterious dessert lands hiding treasures and whimsical genies. During the Anime Contents Expo, popular animation studio JC Staff has recently revealed that they will be producing an animation for the manga Joshiraku. The manga, created by two collaborators Koji Kumeta and Yasu, follows the fictitious story of five female performers and their behind the scenes event. This gag comedy trails back to the old Japan where Rokugo performances are among the most popular forms of entertainment in the locals. Keep Reading

American rock band Linkin Park is getting not one, but two different collectible figures. The first one is a set of kawaii Nendoroids from Good Smile Company.

The awesome Nendoroid Petites are composed of Linkin Park members Chester Bennington, Mike Shinoda, Joe Hahn, Brad Delson and Dave “Phoenix” Farrell. The figures are designed in such a way that recreates the band in their live performances. The set is complete instruments and a stage. Keep Reading
