Genesect, I Choose You! Nintendo Reveals Official Genesect Move List Video

Starting on October 7, 2012, Nintendo will be offering die hard Pokemon (ポケットモンスター) fans a chance to “catch” Genesect (ゲノセクト).

With the release of Pokemon Black Version 2 (ポケットモンスター ブラック 2) and Pokemon White Version 2 (ポケットモンスター ホワイト 2) scheduled on the same date, Nintendo has put Genesect up for grabs for the players who will be getting either (or even both) versions from October 7 to November 12.

Although Genesect was revealed on July 14, 2012, it was first leaked on the August issue of CoroCoro Comics (コロコロ コミック) on July 11, 2012. Keep Reading

Neon Genesis Evangelion Makes An Otaku Foodie’s Dream Come True

Christmas is just a few months away but that doesn’t stop Neon Genesis Evangelion (新世紀エヴァンゲリオン) from joining in on the holiday celebrations.

Neon Genesis Evangelion has been offering Christmas cakes for the past few years and 2012 won’t be an excemption. Bandai Premium, the official online store of Bandai, has announced on their website that the Neon Genesis Evangelion Christmas cake is now up for pre-orders. Kick Heart Project Launched on Kickstarter

Masaki Yuasa, known for his works Kaiba, Mind Game and The Tatami Galaxy had just announced a project with the Production IG. The studio is known for creating Ghost In the Shell and is now bent on producing another noteworthy film although this time, the collaborators will be needing much help from resources outside.

Launching the effort on the site Kickstarter, the project aims to raise $150,000 to fund the production of this 2D animation short called Kick Heart. Keep Reading

Majestic Prince Animation Adaptation in the Works

A roster of exciting anime adaptation projects is coming your way. ANN has recently confirmed that an anime for Rando Ayamine and Hikaru Niijiima’s manga, Majestic Prince, is currently in the works. This has been discovered through the register counter of the 7-Eleven convenience stores found in the Tokyo district. Daisuke Ono and Kana Asumi Casted For Denpa Kyoshi Anime

The Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine of the Shogakukan’s publication has recently disclosed that popular voice actors Daisuke Ono and Kana Asumi will be casted for the anime short commercial of Takeshi Azuma’s manga derivation, Denpa Kyoshi (He is An Ultimate Teacher). Ono will be playing the male lead role of Junichiro Kagami, while Asumi will be playing the role of his sister, Suzune.

The magazine has also revealed that Black Butler II’s Hirofumi Ogura will be directing the project at A-1 Pictures. Keep Reading
