Sylveon, I Choose You! Welcome Pokemon X And Y’s Newest Eevee Evolution!

pokemon sylveonAside from rolly polly Pikachu (ピカチュウ), another famous Pokemon face is Eevee (イーブイ) and all its various evolutions. While the internet offers tons of Eevee evolution fan art, there are only seven official Nintendo entries and entry number eight comes in the form of a pink-blue-and-white Eevee evolution called Sylveon (ニンフィア).

Sylveon is introduced in the latest Pokemon series, Pokemon X (ポケットモンスターX) and Pokemon Y (ポケットモンスターY). Swathed in mystery, this Generation VI Eevee evolution’s only data given so far are the height and weight measurements. Keep Reading

Lucky Star is back with their second chemistry book and this time, the Lucky Star girls, together with sensei Takashi Matsubara, will be dealing with organic chemistry.

Kagami Yoshimizu’s (美水 かがみ) ongoing series of a humble four-panel manga began in January 2004. First published in Comptiq (コンプティーク) magazine, Lucky Star follows the story of high school student, Konata Izumi (泉 こなた). Keep Reading

Fumiko no Kokuhaku Creator Collaborates for New Anime Projects

fumikoFantastic Children, Catnapped! the Movie animator Takashi Nakamura collaborates with Hiroyasu Ishida, a former animation student who is the genius behind the worldwide online hit Fumiko no Kokuhaku (Fumiko’s Confession). Both will be working with Mode Films Inc and Studio Colorido for two new animation projects. Just recently, Studio Colorido had streamed a 46-second trailer for the new works on Thursday.

This promotional video notes that the projects are currently in production, and both of the titles will be released at the later part of 2013. Keep Reading

Haruna Kawaguchi Leads Cast for Zekyou Gakkyuu

090120_zekkyoIt has been revealed that Ouran High School Host Club’s Haruhi and GTO 2012’s Miyabi will star in the live action adaptation of Emi Ishikawa’s horror manga, Zekyou Gakyuu (Screaming Lessons) made for film. This project will adapt the story “Yomi no Shinjitsu” (Yomi’s Truth) taken from the series’ third volume and the “Ningen Rank” (Human Rank) taken from the story’s eight volume.

The cast includes Alice Hirose, Mayu Matsuoka, Haru and Misuki Yamamoto. Keep Reading
