Recently, the Kadokawa Group Publishing has announced that an animation adaptation of the RDG Red Data Girl by Noriko Ogiwara has been green-lit. The modern fantasy novel series is about to take its place on the screens along with the many manga to animation works.

The story trails after the happenings in the lead character Izumiko Suzuhara’s life. A girl which has been raised within the boundaries of the Tamakura Shrine, she has little or no knowledge about the world outside her walls. Keep Reading

The official website for I.G’s newest project Robotics;Notes television anime just opened this Saturday with an animated promotional teasers as well as the information about the staff and the cast. The anime, which is the third science adventure game produced by the same studio who created Steins;Gate and Chaos;HEAd, have slated this new project to hit the local TV this October. Shikura Chiyomaru, head of the game developer 5pb / MAGES, had just confirmed that the anime is going to run for two quarters of a year. Keep Reading

The 17th issue of the 2012 Margaret Publication by Shueisha has revealed to begin the serialization of Rinko Ueda’s Sakura Juuyuushi. This romance manga will be seen in the book’s pages starting August 4. The Stepping on Roses author has also been known on other titles, such as Tail of the Moon, Home, and the Margaret Selection, “Not Friend But…” manga. Most of her works have appeared on Shueisha’s Margaret, Cobalt and the magazine Ribon. Keep Reading

The latest entry in the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records comes from a gigantic, 20-meter silver, dragon-like creature.

Capcom, together with Universal Studios Japan, has come up with an enormous animatronic statue of the Rathalos, a creature from the immensely popular video game Monster Hunter (モンスターハンター). The animatronic Rethalos is as real as it could be: it shoots smoke, moves and roars. Pokemon (ポケモン) has been featured for quite a long time already in the McDonald’s Happy Meal toy line and this time, rolly, polly Pikachu met up with the main man of McDonald’s who, coincidentally, also shares the same dominant shade of yellow and red as the famous little electric mouse.
