One of the most loved anime and manga franchise that hit the 90’s was Slam Dunk (スラムダンク). Behind that great title, as well as for Vagabond and Real, is a man called Takehiko Inoue (井上雄彦). Leading news channel CNN interviewed Inoue in their Human to Hero series. New Series Arriving in Shueisha’s Margaret Magazine

Popular print magazine Shueisha had just revealed that its Margaret shojo magazine’s first 2013 issue will also be the launch of a few titles from well-known manga artists. On Devember 5, Arina Tanemura will premiere her Neko to Watashi no Kinyōbi (The Cat’s and My Friday) in the magazine’s fifth issue on February 5, 2013.

Previously, Tanemura had just ended her exclusivity contract with another of SHueisha’s Publication, the Ribon magazine in the spring of 2011. Keep Reading

Perfume Takes On Ending Theme For Latest Doraemon Movie

Anime Film Santa Company Preps Up for Next Winter Release

Heads up! A Christmas themed animation film is on the works, and it’s bound to put you in good holiday spirits, that is, next winter! The unit director of the late Satoshi Kon’s stagnant Yume-Miru Kikai film Kenji Itoso, is revealed to be currently planning and directing a new anime film called Santa Company. However, it is not until 2013 that it will be shown in the screens.
