Obviously patterned after Sailor Moon (美少女戦士セーラームーン), the quick advertisement that runs for barely 40 seconds doesn’t only show the girls in their senshi uniform BUT they also did their take on the franchise’s signature theme song.

Released on October 25, 2010, Shingo Asai took care of the art while Sakura Nakameguro was responsible with the scenario. Both artists worked closely with Hojo. kiteThe live action take on Yasuomi Umetsu’s (梅津 泰臣) controversial 90’s anime offering, Kite (A カイト), is ready to roll as a 9 minute uncut trailer has surfaced on the internet since late last month. American actor Samuel L. Jackson, who was cast as Akai (renamed as Karl Aker in the movie), gave a short introductory message before the trailer starts playing.

This news was announced via the official Sailor Moon website on January 10, 2013. The brand new series was once scheduled on the Summer of 2013 but was moved to Winter of 2013 and ultimately on July of 2014 as reported.
