Shoujo Manga Banana Fish Gets Second Stage Adaptation
It has been recently revealed that the Yoshida Akimi manga Banana Fish, which has already been presented into a play, will get a second shot in stage adaptation once again. This Yoshida masterpiece is popularly known, with a total circulation of more than ten million copies worldwide. NYC member Yuma Nakayama (中山優馬) takes in the lead role of the live-action adaptation of Piece, a manga created by Hinako Ashihara (芦原 妃名子). This was announced on September 9, 2012 by Nippon Television Network (NTV). The live-action take on Piece is slated for the late-night schedules.
CLAMP’s xxxHOLiC (×××ホリック) is making its way from the pages of the manga and the anime world into the real world with a live-action take! Scheduled for release on 2013, Japanese TV station WOWOW (ワウワウ) has confirmed this news on their official website. The live-action take of xxxHOLiC will be part of the 2013 shows lined up in the WOWOW premium satellite network.
