Anime Adaptation of Light Novel Kokoro Connect To Air this Spring

Kokoro ConnectWritten by Sadanatsu Anda and illustrated by Yukiko Horiguchi / Shiromizakana, light novel series Kokoro Connect (ココロコネクト) is set to hit Japan’s local television this coming spring.

As highlighted in the stage event at the Anime Contents Expo, a promotional video was released, hinting about the new animation series which will be aired during summer. TV Asahi Streams Teaser From the New World Novel Adaptation

Local Japanese Television Network TV Asahi started streaming the prelude teaser for the anime series adaptation of the novel From the New World by Yusuke Kishi. This trailer features the breathtaking art and production, along with the comments from the producer Yutaka Oomatsu (Night Raid 1931, Blood+) and series composition director Masashi Sogo (Gantz, Bleach). New Mystery Anime Series Hyouka Bound on TV this Spring

Yasuhiro Takemoto, whose name can be associated with directing many epsisodes of the anime Lucky Star, is about to release another animation series this coming spring.

Dubbed as Hyouka, this new story is focused on shonen demographic by attracting them with a mystery plot. Futoshi Nishiya, the genius behind the character designs of Nichijou and The Melancholy of Haruji Suzumiya, collaborates with the rest of the Hyouka team and endows them her unique styling art. Time of Eve Creator Releases Trailer for New Film

ZULOUYasuhiro Yoshiura, known for his hit titles Time of Eve and Pale Cocoon, is releasing yet another interestingly curious plot, Sakasama no Patema /サカサマのパテマ, Beginning of the Day. The film also goes by another name, Patema Inverted.

In this plot, Yoshiura brings his audience into an interesting new world apart from the modern living; a track back to a humble, modest village where everyone lives in peace and tranquility. Sakuraba Kazuki’s Mystery Novel Gets Animated

FusePopularly known as the GOSICK Author, Novelist Sakuraba Kazuki gets another of his works highlighted. His novel Fuse – A Gunslinger Girl Detective Story, is heading for an anime production set to be released this fall.

The animation revolves around a supernatural girl named Hamaji, living in a city located within the mountains. Staged during the Edo Period, this novel was evident of the inspiration where Sakuraba took the setting from, the popular Japanese Novel Nansou Satomi Hakkenden. Keep Reading

Teasers Streamed for Live Action Himitsu no Akko-Chan

Akko-chanA trailer teaser for the live action adaptation Himitsu no Akko-chan (ひみつのアッコちゃん) was streamed on March 16.

The trailer features the 5th grader Akko, receiving her magical compact from a powerful spirit of the mirror. Using this compact, Akko is able to cast a spell upon herself, transforming into anything, or anyone, that she desires. Gender Switching Plot Gets Manga Spin Off

Japanese manga artist Ai Morinaga gets to re-launch her romantic comedy series Your & My Secret (僕と彼女の×××, Boku to Kanojo no XXX).

The story, which originally ended in the September 2011 issue of the popular comic magazine Mag Garden, is set to be seen again in the magazine’s ages starting this June. As based from the promotions, the spin-off series will highlight the four main characters from its original plot. Its first run lasted for a decade and was published in eight volumes. Keep Reading
