KAT-TUN’s Nakamaru Yuichi and Nanao in New Manga-based Series

Another Johnny’s is about to hit the live action stage—this time it’s KAT-TUN’s resident crooner Nakamaru Yuichi set forth to reveal his charm in Higashimura Akiko’s Omoni Naitemasu. He leads this drama alongside the Jellyfish model Nanao.

Nakamaru will play the role of Akamatsu Keisuku, who falls in love with Konno Izumi, to be played by Nanao. Konno Izumi is a beautiful model who felt that her excessive beauty is rather a curse, more than a blessing. Keep Reading

Taken from a manga with the same title, this live action series will featured Chinen Yuri from Johnny’s Hey! Say! Jump! Chinen will be playing the role of Souhei, a boy in his high school year who is set to be entangled with a complicated love story along with the heroine.

7-Year Old Fuku Suzuki Given Title Role for Ikkyu-San

ikkyuSanspo, a Japanese Sports and Entertainment news publication, has revealed that the Toei Animation historical comedy series is about to have its own live action adaptation. Ikkyu-san, an animated series which was inspired by a true-to-life Buddhist Monk, is scheduled to be aired on Fuji TV as a three part anthology in prime time set this June.

Ikkyu Soujun is the historical character which inspired the original animation. The plot trails after his naughty adventures as a child while he is staying at the Ankoku Temple. Keep Reading
