Gag Series Grandpa Danger Gets Anime Adaptation After 7 Years

dangerous jii san jaKazutoshi’s absolutely funny yet endearing series Grandpa Danger (Zettai Zetsumei: Denjarasu Jii-san), is now slated for an anime adaptation production. The television channel KIDS STATION has just recently listed the series to receive a television anime project which starts next month. Kazutoshi Soyama has created this adventure manga, published by the local publication Shogakukan in the CoroCoro Comic since October 2001. Shiro’s Mountain Climbing Manga Goes Anime

yama no susumeIt has been recently revealed that Shiro’s manga Yama no Susume will be prepped up for an anime adaptation by the studio 8-Bit come this 2013. The series, which has been running on Earth Star Entertainment’s publication Comic Earth Star Magazine, started in September 2011. The company has already published a first serialized volume of the title in June 2012. The anime adaptation project was announced in the first volume release. Keep Reading

Characters for Chū-2 Byō de mo Koi ga Shitai! Revealed

Chū-2 Byō de mo Koi ga ShitaiLast year, Kyoto Animation Studio (KyoAni) has confirmed of an anime adaptation for Torako’s romantic novel Chū-2 Byō de mo Koi ga Shitai! (I Have Adolescent Delusions, However I Want to Fall in Love! ) is in the works. The official website has played a mock game and a teaser video, which greatly excited fans of the genre. Tonari no Kaibutsu-Kun PV Reveals Series Spoof

Tonari no Kaibutsu-KunSet to debut this Fall season, Robico’s romantic comedy Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (Seating Beside a Monster) is starting to prepare for its premiere slate. The official website for the series had just began streaming its latest promotional video on Monday, to which the shoujo themed plot has been engulfed with an ironical funny spoof.

This anime project adapts Robiko’s popular rom-com story about two high school students who are the opposite of one another, yet through various circumstances, falls in love. Keep Reading

Sekina Aoi’s Manga Green Lit for Anime Adaptation

Seitokai no IchizonFall is a season filled with old anime favorites and new releases. Just recently, the Japanese production group Kadokawa, has began streaming an interesting promotional teaser for their upcoming new project, Sekina Aoi’s Seitokai no Ichizon (The Discretion of the Student Council). The series, illustrated by Kira Inugami, has been first released on 2008 and was published under the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko brand—a label created by Fujimi Shobo.

Originally known as the Hekiyou Gaien Seitokai Gijiroku (The Minutes of the Hekiyou Academy Student Council), the title was changed according to the subtitle of the series’ first volume, to which it has been presently known as the Seitokai Series. Keep Reading

Kaho Miyasaka Launches New Series, Akai Ito

Akai ItoPopular shoujo romance manga writer Kayo Miyasaka had just launched a new series called Akai Ito (Red Thread). This was revealed in the October Issue o the Shogakukan’s Cheese! Publication on Friday. The print has a special 40-page preview, dubbed as Akai Ito: Innocent Scene, has appeared in the magazine’s September issue released on July 24.

Akai Ito trails around the story of a girl who serves as the manager her high school’s popular sword-fighting group, the kendo club. Keep Reading
