Karino Takatsu Manga To Be Adapted into TV Series

It is during this event that Karino Takatsu’s Working!! four panel comedy manga is getting its very own television animation in July from A1 Pictures. The working title will be Servant x Service but still retains the very core of the story.

MADHOUSE Releases Teaser for Kamisama no Inai Nichiyōbi

At the Anime Contents Expo Event this Saturday, the production company MADHOUSE has released a promotional video for their upcoming fantasy anime project, Kamisama no Inai Nichiyōbi. The teaser also debuted on the official website on Sunday. Kami-sama no Inai Nichiyōbi (神さまのいない日曜日/ The Sunday Without God) is a light novel series by Kimihito Irie, with illustrations done by the artist Shino. The story was adapted into a manga by Abaraheiki and was serialized in the Fujimi Shobo’s Monthly Dragon Age. Keep Reading

Kii Kitano Stars In Jōkyō Monogatari Live Action

The story is a loose autobiographical plot of Saibara herself, who has written the mangas Mainichi Kaa-san and Onnanoko Monogatari. The live action adaptation will be of film, and will hit the theaters in August. Alongside Kitano are the actors Fumino Kimura, Asuka Kurosawa (Himizu, Jellyfish Eyes, Ushijima the Loan Shark), Ittoko Kishibe (Onmyoji, Hula Girls) and Asaka Seto (Death Note). Keep Reading

The official website for Uchoten Kazoku had recently revealed a promotional teaser, done by the studio PA Works. The teaser provides an interesting setting of the comedy drama series, which is located in Kyoto. The Nagasawa-kun comedy series will be starred by Hitori Gekidan as the lead role. Originally a part of the Chibi Maruko-chan cast, the Nagasawa-kun comic focuses on one of the characters and gives smart but really hurting jokes with his blunt speeches.
