Often compared to giant, rival monster games namely Pokemon (ポケットモンスター) and Digimon (デジタルモンスター), Monster Rancher humbly stands out as a game with the objective that players are monster breeders; they raise their creatures in perfect health in order for them to be the best in tournaments. Sakamoto and HimikoJapanese animation studio, MADHOUSE Inc. (株式会社 マッドハウス), confirms news on adapting Inoue Junya’s manga “BTOOOM!” into an anime series. The ongoing manga series tells the story of Ryuuta Sakamoto. Sakamoto is 22-years-old, unemployed and he lives with his mother. Toaru Majutsu no Index Movie Set to Premiere in 2013

Certain Magical IndexKazumi Kamachi’s Toaru Majutsu no Index (とある魔術の禁書目録, trans., “A Certain Magical Index”), is about to hit the movie screens come February 2013. As previously announced, a theatrical continuation of the hit animation has been slated in the next year’s winter months. This movie marks the return of Hiroshi Nishikiro as the J.C Staff production director, with the script created by Macross F writer Hiroyuki Yoshino.

Arata Naru Sekai Project Revs Up for a Multimedia Franchise

AratanarusekaiStudio ASCII Media Works has recently announced in their Dengeki Bunko press that writer Hitoma Iruma will launch a new project called Arata-naru Sekai (A New World), a multimedia franchise topped with an animation version. Hit Manga BTOOOM Gets Anime Adaptation

btooomAnime studio Madhouse has recently announced that the popular illustrated novel BTOOOM will have its own animation adaptation. On June 8, the studio has stated that the production for this project has been green-lit. The manga is written by Inoue Junya and was originally serialized in the Weekly Comic Bunch since July 2009.
