It has just been revealed that the actress/model Ayame Gouriki will take the lead role of the live-action film adaptation of Ayu Watanabe’s L♥DK manga. The information has been revealed by Kodansha’s Bessatsu Friend magazine last month, with the news of the manga getting its own film adaptation. However, the production has not specified the medium at that time.

Gouriki has played various manga based roles, which will include another character in the Black Butler live action film as Shiori Genpou. Keep Reading

The Hana to Yume Magazine by Hakusensha has revealed a new serialization by manga artist and writer Ryoko Fukuyama (Nosatsu Junkie). On Saturday, the magazine has launched Fukumenkei Noise, wherein a 72-page chapter was created to run in Hana to Yume as part of its 10th issue of the year celebration. The third live action film adaptation of the popular fighting manga by Hiroshi Takahashi has streamed its first trailer. This introduces the new cast at the Suzuran Boys’ High School after the former Crows leaders, Genji Takiya and Tamao Serizawa have graduated. The new film is titled Crows Explode, and will be directed by Toshiaki Toyoda, taking over from the Takashi Miike’s work. The film takes place one month after the end of Crows Zero 2. Keep Reading

As recently revealed, the Japanese production giant Toei Animation’s historical comedy anime series Ikkyū-san will be getting a second live action special on May.
