Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum Hosts Neon Genesis Evangelion Exhibit

ngetezukaFrom June 29 to October 22, 2012, The Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum (宝塚市立手塚治虫記念館) exhibits the highly popular yet controversial Japanese media franchise that rocked the whole world.

Directed by Hideaki Anno (庵野 秀明) and produced by Gainax Company Limited (株式会社ガイナックス), Neon Genesis Evangelion (新世紀エヴァンゲリオン) is an apocalyptic mecha themed anime/manga franchise that began in 1995. With its apocalyptic mecha theme, Neon Genesis Evangelion garnered fans around the world with its story: teenagers were chosen to fight for NERV against creatures called Angels using humanoid robots called Evangelions. Namco Namja Town Celebrates Naruto: Road To Ninja With Naruto Inspired Food And Items

Part of their Naruto menu is the highly artistic Gaara Gourd Ice shown on the right. The food is prepared in such a way that Gaara’s famous gourd stands on one side while Gaara’s eye and tattoo is decorated on another. The ongoing manga series tells the story of Ryuuta Sakamoto. Sakamoto is 22-years-old, unemployed and he lives with his mother. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu Featured In The Latest Jigoku No Misawa Manga

kyary pamyu pamyuJapanese singer and model, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ) appeared in the latest edition of Kakko-Kawaii Sengen! in the July issue of Jump Square magazine.

Manga creator Jigoku No Misawa (地獄のミサワ) portrayed Kyary Pamyu Pamyu as a girl with small facial features set within a large face, a signature art style that made his works unique. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu isn’t alone in her manga; Jigoku No Misawa also created the singer’s rabbit character called Pamyurin. Keep Reading
