love kyuriKnown for his humorous plots and drawing detail, Japanese mangaka Hideki Ohwada launches another comedy series about to hit the comic world dubbed as the Fūhyō Hakai Tenshi Lovekyuri, or simply Lovekyuri, this new volume of Ohwada’s addictive cheeky narratives will be launched in the August issue of the Champion Red Magazine by Akita Shoten publishing.

New Series Yuruyuri♪♪ About to Hit the Local Television this July

Yuru YuriTV Tokyo has recently broadcasted a 30-second promotional ad for an upcoming anime called Yuruyuri♪♪. This is inspired from a Japanese manga series created by the mangaka Namori. It was initially serialized in the Comic Yuri Hime S in July 2008. Yuruyuri♪♪ then was moved to Comic Yuri Hime in 2010, still catering to its fans that grew to love its series and followed its story.

The plot of Yuruyuri♪♪ follows the lives of four schoolgirls in a junior high school located in Takaoka, Toyama. Keep Reading

Shout! Factory has released the ultimate Power Rangers DVD set that would make complete every Power Rangers fan’s collection. The Power Rangers: From Mighty Morphin to Lost Galaxy DVD set contains 40 DVDs and is separated into two boxes. The first box contains all three seasons of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers while the second box holds Power Rangers Zeo to Power Rangers Lost Galazy.

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was first released in August of 1993 and was adapted from the Japanese sentai series Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger (恐竜戦隊ジュウレンジャー). Keep Reading

Toaru Majutsu no Index Movie Set to Premiere in 2013

Certain Magical IndexKazumi Kamachi’s Toaru Majutsu no Index (とある魔術の禁書目録, trans., “A Certain Magical Index”), is about to hit the movie screens come February 2013. As previously announced, a theatrical continuation of the hit animation has been slated in the next year’s winter months. This movie marks the return of Hiroshi Nishikiro as the J.C Staff production director, with the script created by Macross F writer Hiroyuki Yoshino.
