His name is often identified within the fans as a pun for “15” since Ichigo, can also be read as “1-5”. Although the anime has been ended, the manga still moves on and has even bagged the 8th place on the Japanese Manga Sales with 4,187,258 copies sold.

After the long anticipation for the assumed adaptation of Wataru Watari’s comedy light novel, Japanese publishing company Shogagukan has formally confirmed the progress of the television animation series for Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru (My Youth Romantic Comedy is Wrong as I Expected). As indicated from the flyer for the GAGAGA Bunko Maggazine, the title is receiving its own series, which is currently in the works.

As revealed in the 2012 14th issue of Young Gangan Magazine by Square Enix, the animation adaptation for Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru (also known for its shortened title, OreShura), is preparing for its launch. The magazine has been running the four-panneled manga adaptation of the series since October 2011, created by Marimo.
