Award Winning Manga Gets Anime Adaptation

A brand new anime to watch out for is the animated take on the award winning manga by Naoshi Arakawa (新川直司), Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (四月は君の嘘). The series is known for bagging the Best Shounen Manga at the 37th Kodansha Awards (講談社漫画賞).

Last month, we reported about what Kaijus do post Super Sentai (スーパー戦隊シリーズ) fights. Now here comes this question: what DO the heroes do after monster fights? A brand new Japanese television show entitled Kanpai Senshi After V (乾杯戦士 アフターV) shows us just that! The Super Sentai parody focuses on a team of Super Sentai heroes who celebrate the end of their working day by partying and by partying they mean karaoke, drinking and whining incessantly about their job. 
Live-action takes on anime, comic book and even video game will often make fans feel wary but this will certainly bowl you over. Capcom (株式会社カプコン), together with Machinima, brings you Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist. The promising series which highlights Ryu (リュウ) and Ken Masters (ケン・マスターズ) now has a trailer for every awaiting Street Fighter fan. The trailer, which was uploaded on March 14, 2014 on the official Machinima Youtube channel, runs for just a short 55 seconds but is more than enough to hook your attention. 
If you’ve been following the anime version of Engaged to the Unidentified (未確認で進行形) for awhile now and it has made a fan out of you, here’s good news for you. An OVA of the anime series is currently in the works and a 3-minute preview has been released on March 2 via the TOHO animation Youtube channel.
