We love a little romance here and there, and this new series just got us sparked up for another slice of rom-com, anime style. It was just announced that Naoshi Komi’s Nisekoi: False Love, is getting its television animation. The manga was published as a one-shot storyline in Shueisha’s seasonal Jump NEXT! Magazine. It was serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump afterwards. Six volumes have been compiled and released as of March 2013. Keep Reading

Just in! the official website slated for the anime adaptation of Watashi ga Motenai no wa dō Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui (私がモテないのはどう考えてもお前らが悪い, also known as WataMote), has revealed the character designs for its three main characters. The manga series is written and illustrated by Nico Tanigawa, and began its serialization on Gangan Comics Online by Square Enix. It ran from 2011 and is licensed in North America by Yen Press. The official website for the anime adaptation of Yui Hara’s four panel comedy manga Kin-iro Mosaic (Golden Mosaic) has recently updated with new cast members. On 2012, it was revealed that this manga will receive its adaptation slated for July this 2013. Casted for this series are Asuka Nishi as Shinobu Omiya, Manami Tanaka as Alice Cartelet, Nao Toyama as Karen Kujo, Risa Taneda as Aya Komichi and Yumi Uchiyama as Yoko Inokuma. Keep Reading

Heads up, anime fans and otakus, another doll series is coming your way! An anime adaptation has been announced for the Reiji Kaito and Ruroo manga Unbreakable Machine Doll (機巧少女は傷つかない). Its official website has revealed 4 cast members and the staff for the project, which are the same as the 2010 drama CDs. Shizuka Itou, Yuuki Ono, Yuuki Kaji, Yui Ogura, Ai Kayano, Takahiro Sakurai, Asuka Nishi, Mamiko Noto, Kana Hanazawa, Risa Taneda and Yukana have announced to be in the series’ cast, although the names of their characters have not been disclosed. Kadokawa Shoten had just revealed on its website a new project: Hajime Segawa’s Tokyo ESP manga is now under preparation for an anime adaptation. Segawa terms this work as an “afterschool psychic action,” and has launched it in Kadokawa’s Monthly Shounen Ace magazine back in 2010. This is shortly after he has ended The Enchained Spritual Beast Ga-Rei, another supernatural action series. Ga-Rei, which Segawa alternatively termed as the “afterschool spirit hunting action,” inspired the Ga-Rei: Zero television anime series in 2008, in which Funimation has released in North America.
