Last Saturday, January 26, 2013, SM Megamall and the rest of the mall-goers experienced the fright of their lives as robbers came in the premises and raised a shoot out.
The robbers raided F and C, a jewelry store located at the mall’s ground floor.
It was unfortunate that the shooting took place on the day that Otakuzine Anime Magazine had held an otaku convention and rumors reportedly spread that the armed gunmen were wearing costumes to blend in with the crowd. Keep Reading

Fans of the anime and manga genre called mecha are sure to have heard of the name Tenjin Hidetaka. In an official announcement made by Otakon last Friday, they will hosting Tenjin Hidetaka on their convention on July 27-28 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Those who are unfamiliar with Tenjin Hidetaka will be in for a surprise. Hidetaka is a very talented artist whose specialty lays in drawing mecha. This coming Friday marks the beginning of Ozine Fest 2012. This three-day event will be held on the fifth floor of the SM Megamall, Megatrade Halls from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
The Ozine Festival is an anime convention organized by a Filipino anime magazine called “Otakuzine Anime Magazine” and is published by PSICOM Publishing, Inc. The first Ozine Fest was held in Robinsons Galleria on December 16, 2005. This became an annual anime convention that was always looked forward to by anime and manga fans. Keep Reading
InSOMAnia 4: Samurai Soul Unleashed celebrates its fourth anniversary on March 10, 2012 with a bonanza of activities.
The event will be held in SM Sta. Rosa at the Event Center with booths, exhibits, mini games and competitions such as the Art Contest, Karaoke Contest and a J-Rock Contest. Of course, no Anime convention would ever be complete without the Cosplay Competition.
