The gothic-lolita dressed high school student was given a yandere personality—an odd irony of a soft and friendly outward behavior, but turns hostile when aggravated. On May 17, 2012, Otaku House introduced Kawa in their Announcements and Promotions. Preceding the short introduction shown above is an image of a girl with short, white hair and clad in the modern take on the Japanese kimono with a golden box trailing on red cloth.

Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan (ぬらりひょんの孫) is one anime that teaches us that there’s more to people than meets the eye.

Meet Nura Rikuo, a normal, everyday, junior high student. Underneath his ordinary, 12-year-old looks however rages Yokai (demon) blood. Rikou transforms into a powerful demon commander called Nurarihyon when night falls and returns to normal when the sun rises. These trailers feature a four-minute short films which has been released slowly by the project studio, creating much anticipation. Written by Kazushige Nojima, Armed Middle School Student Basket Army (Busō Chūgakusei Basket Army) is an endearing yet action-packed fiction set forth to an animation debut this year. Yukito Ayatsuji’s high school horror novel Another gets a debut in live action form. The official website for this film’s project has recently began streaming the feature trailer—a ghastly, mysterious plot which envelops the plot of a high school class. The novel, which first hit the stores in 2009, has been redone into various medium. In 2010, it has been developed into a manga, and recently, the plot has been developed into a full length animation series which has hit Japan by storm. Keep Reading
