Rurouni Kenshin – Cinema Version – Manga To Be Launched In Jump Square

rurouni 2On December 2011, an announcement was made that Rurouni Kenshin will appear in mangas once again in May 2012. May has already arrived and the red-haired samurai has returned to Jump Square, along with other great manga titles Blue Exorcist, D-Gray Man and Claymore.

The latest Rurouni Kenshin manga is, however, not a continuation of the original manga. Aptly named Rurouni Kenshin – Cinema Version –, the latest Rurouni Kenshin manga is rather a retelling of the live-action version movie starred by Takeru Satou. Keep Reading

Ringu 3D Promoted In Shibuya By Hordes Of Sadakos

sadako 2Japanese horror junkies are in for a treat with the latest Ringu movie! Promotions for Ringu 3D have been out and about, starting with the Sadako 3D X Hello Kitty collaboration that began nearly a month ago.

Then, almost a week ago, Sadako Yamamura threw the ceremonial opening pitch for the Chiba Lotte Marines vs Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters baseball game. Now, about 50 individuals dressed as Sadako crawling out of televisions promoted the movie in the streets of Shibuya. Keep Reading

Tenjin Hidetaka Will Be Hosted By Otakon 2012

hidetaka tenjinFans of the anime and manga genre called mecha are sure to have heard of the name Tenjin Hidetaka. In an official announcement made by Otakon last Friday, they will hosting Tenjin Hidetaka on their convention on July 27-28 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Those who are unfamiliar with Tenjin Hidetaka will be in for a surprise. Hidetaka is a very talented artist whose specialty lays in drawing mecha.
