kyary pamyu pamyuJapanese singer and model, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ) appeared in the latest edition of Kakko-Kawaii Sengen! in the July issue of Jump Square magazine.

Manga creator Jigoku No Misawa (地獄のミサワ) portrayed Kyary Pamyu Pamyu as a girl with small facial features set within a large face, a signature art style that made his works unique. Kyary Pamyu Pamyu isn’t alone in her manga; Jigoku No Misawa also created the singer’s rabbit character called Pamyurin. Keep Reading

emi takeiEmi Takei (武井 咲), who was cast as Kaoru Kamiya (神谷 薫) for the live action take on Rurouni Kenshin, also appears in the latest Lotte bubblegum commercial!

Takei, 18, has revealed her unique, grape-inspired hairstyle which she will be appearing in in the latest Lotte Fruitio Gum.

City Hunter Airs On Animax Asia

City Hunter season 1Tsukasa Hojo’s world famous City Hunter (シティーハンター) comes back from 1987 and into 2012 thanks to Animax Asia!

City Hunter is a detective agency run by Ryo Saeba (冴羽獠) and Kaori Makimura (槇村香). Getting to them is easy: clients simply leave the letters “XYZ” written on a blackboard at Shinjuku Station.
