NBA Logos Get Redesigned Ala Pokemon
When you were a kid, did you ever relate Pokemon (ポケットモンスター) with the NBA team logos? If you did, your wish has been granted! American artist Micah Coles gave the NBA team logos a quick redesign but this time, the logos stars Pokemon that we all have come to know and love over the years!
The redesigned logos have become an internet sensation. Some logos retained their original states such as the New Orleans Pelicans (now with a Pidgey (ポッポ ) now in its place), Orlando Magic (with a cleverly inserted Magikarp (コイキング) whose crown makes up the logo’s “A”) and the Dallas Mavericks (which now bears a Rapidash (ギャロップ)). Oktoberfest is one of the world’s most awaited events held in Munich, Germany and of course, what is Oktoberfest without beer and sexy beer girls? With Oktoberfest certainly months away, you can still celebrate early on in the year with this Super Pochacho (すーぱーぽちゃ子) figure. This adorable chubby girl dresses up in a skimpy blue dirndl that emphasizes her too generous bosom with a mug of beer on either hand.
With the news already out that a live-action take on the famous Monkey Punch (モンキー・パンチ) manga/anime franchise, fans are clamoring for a teaser of the film. They weren’t disappointed as a trailer has been shown via the TBS morning show, Asachan on Monday.
Fans of Hunter x Hunter (ハンターハンター), rejoice! HxH creator Yoshihiro Togashi (冨樫 義博) is back and the series will be making its grand return in Weekly Shonen Jump (週刊少年ジャンプ)! Publishing companies Shueisha (株式会社集英社) and VIZ Media have made this announcement on Tuesday and the series will be both available in Japanese and English. How cool is that?
