American model Dakota Rose stars in a live-action video game commercial in Japan.

Directed by Kenji Kamiyama of the Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex fame teamed up with Yoko Kanno, also from the Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex team, to come up with the Rage of Bahamut commercial. Rage of Bahamut is a mobile game created by Cygames, Inc. The mobile phone trading card game resembles that of a fantasy RPG game in which players choose their desired alliance and go on quests.

Dakota Rose, also known as KotaKoti, earned the monicker the “Real-Life Barbie Doll” for her doll-like appearance, complete with the signature Barbie indicators: blonde hair, blue eyes and flawless skin. The 16-year-old, San Fransisco based model’s choice of style is Japanese which fits in perfectly with her role in the commercial as a demoness.
